Wyoming Tattoo Laws

No person wittingly performs a body piercing or tattooing upon or under the skin of a person under the age of 18, except with the permission from the person's parents or legal guardian who is present at the time of tattooing performed upon the person.

The tattooist may demand proof of age before doing tattooing upon the person. Proof for age or identity purpose includes:

  • A motor vehicle driver's license

  • Armed forces issued identity card

  • Passport card validated by United States and

  • Identification card issued by department of transportation etc.
