Tattoo means the mark made by tattooing technique in the human skin by using a needles to form an indelible mark.

71-3,106. Act; activities exempt.

The Cosmetology Act in Nebraska is non-relevant or restrict the activities of the following:

  1. When any person doing the customary practice of his profession then certificate or license shall be issued pursuant to Ch. 71.

  2. Anybody working in ear piercing, tattooing, or invasive beautification practices.

  3. A person engaged in charitable administration or domestic work.

  4. Anybody engaged in non-vocational training.
