Missouri Tattoo LawsMissouri Tattoo LawsSection 1 1] As per sections 1 and 2 of this act, the meanings of the terms used in it are listed below :
2] Its not at all allowed for anybody to knowingly tattoo or perform body piercing on a person who is under 18 years age, until that person provides a written consent of the his/her parent or legal guardian. If at all any person found as fraud or misrepresenting himself or herself as a parent of the minor he/she is guilty of a class B misdemeanor. As well as parent or legal guardian shall execute that written consent required pursuant to this subsection only in the presence of the person, who is performing the tattooing or body piercing on the minor, or at least in presence of an employee or agent of the person. 3] A person is not allowed to tattoo or perform body piercing on other person, if he/she found that person is under the influence of intoxicating liquor or a controlled substance. 4] A person violating this section of a law is guilty of a misdemeanor and he/she shall be fined not more than $500. And also if a subsequent violation of this section by same person is found within a year, that person shall be fined not less than $500 or $1000. Section 2 1] Nobody who practice tattooing allowed without a license issued by the director of the department of economic development, to practice and to establish in business in which tattoos are used. The license fees for a practitioner and for every establishment are $75 for a year. 2] The rules and regulations relative to the hygienic practice of tattooing and sanitary operations of tattoo establishments by the director of the department of economic development shall include:
3] No any of these rules promulgated pursuant to the authority of the section can be effective, until it has been promulgated pursuant to the provisions of chapter 536, RSMo. |
