Road Requirements for motorcycles

  • Helmet for safety purpose - Helmet is required by law especially for less than 18 years of age.

  • Eye Protection - It is required by law, but must be equipped with windscreen.

  • Headlight use during daytime - Permitted (headlight modulation).

  • Seat for passenger - Needed if there is a passenger.

  • Footrest for passenger - Needed if there is a passenger.

  • Age restriction for passenger - None.

  • Speakers (Helmet) - No restrictions.

  • Breaks - Necessary on both wheels.

  • Inspection for safety (periodically) - Not necessary. But in case, Law enforcement believes that a vehicle is not safe or unequipped as needed, then they may stop the vehicle and force to submit the vehicle to an inspection by the officer.

  • Use Left mirror/Right mirror - 2 mirrors necessary by law.

  • Receiving motorcycle endorsement from other states - Allowed.

Off Road Requirements for motorcycles

  • Helmet for safety purpose - Necessary for under 18.

  • Eye protection - Not necessary.

  • Age validity (for operator) - No restriction.

  • Certificate requirement for rider education - Not necessary.

  • License requirement (for operator) - Not necessary.

  • Headlights - Not needed.

  • Sound levels limit (max) - No limit.

  • Registration - Voluntary.

  • Title for vehicle - Necessary.
