Take care of following things you should do and don't while driving a motorcycle in the Alaska state in general.

  • Use of Helmet - Compulsory for under 18 years.

  • Eye protection - compulsory and those equipped with windscreen 15" or more are not allowed.

  • Rearview mirror - Both left and right side rearview mirrors are compulsory.

  • Wheel brakes - Brakes on both wheels are must.

  • Height of handlebar - It should be maximum 15" and above seat.

  • Footrests for passenger - It should be there if you are carrying a passenger.

  • Handhold for Passenger - It should be there if you are carrying a passenger.

  • Turn Signals - Turn Signals are not required.

  • Speedometer or Odometer - Speedometer or Odometer are not required.

  • Seat for passenger - It should be there if you are carrying a passenger.

  • Daytime use of headlight - It is not required to use headlight in daytime.

  • Periodical Inspection - Random periodical inspection is required.

  • Use of headphones - Not allowed.
