Ohio State's Marriage Ceremony Officiating Requirements
Any of the licensed or ordained minister of any religious society or congregation within that state may perform marriages. Before marriage ceremony ministers has to present their ordination credentials to the probate judge of any county in Ohio, then that judge gives a minister a license for performing marriages.
Ministers have to send a marriage certificate after the marriage to the probate judge of the county who issues the marriage license in next in 30 days.
