Hawaii Marriage License Information
The marriage license is valid for 30 days. Requirements keep on varying as per the county in Hawaii. One has to finish all the legal activities of wedding done at least a month prior the wedding date.

Under 18 Marriages: If an individual is in between 16 to 18 years of age, with parental consent a marriage license can be obtained. If parent of any one of them are not available may be because of sole custody or death, the permission of one parent is also sufficient. A county judge issues the marriage license for under 16 years age, with or without parental permission.
If applicant is of 16 or 17 years, then written consent of both parents is must. If applicant is 15 years old, then not only the written consent of either parents or legal guardian, but also the written approval of a judge of the family court is also must. The necessary consent forms can be easily obtained from a marriage license agent.

Any minister authorized by their church, may perform marriages but before performing marriages, has to obtain a license from the department of health.
