• Age Requirements :

  The child must be seventy two hours old or younger.

• The following may relinquish the Infant :

• The following may receive the Infant :
  Statute: - § 48.195
  • Sheriff's office
  • Police station
  • Law enforcement officer
  • Fire station

• Safe Haven Provider Responsibilities :
  Statute: - § 48.195
  • They can take any action to protect the child and his health.
  • Register the birth certificate of child within five days only.
  • They should provide a toll free number to the health care services and providers.

• Parental Rights :
  Statute: - § 48.415
  • The state court may give the permission to involuntary terminate the parental rights.
