Putative Fathers
Vermont State does not have a Putative Father Registry.
- What are the registry requirements to receive notice?
Statute: Tit. 15A, - §- § 3-503; 3-404- A putative father can register a parental interest before the termination period (within 20 days) of the parental rights of the putative father.
- Identification and notification of biological father is very important, so required efforts are made for this.
