Adopting Parties

Statute: - § 25-6-2; 25-6-3- Any person (must be 10 years older or more than the adoptee).
- Any married person having the consent of his/her spouse.

- What are the registry requirements to receive notice?

Within sixty days of the birth of child:- The putative father should openly acknowledge the child as his own.
