  • Followings may adopt a child :
    Statute: 23 Pa. - § 2312
    • Any individual may adopt the child.

Putative Fathers

Pennsylvania State does not have a Putative Father Registry.

  • What are the registry requirements to receive notice?
    Statute: 23 Pa. - §- § 2513; 5103
    • The putative father must fill the form of Dept. of Public Welfare.
    • If putative father has filed the claim of paternity, then minimum ten days notice of termination proceeding shall be given to him.
    • In the case of absence of mother's consent, the putative father is the person to notice of the termination proceedings.
