  • Non-Identifying Information : A person (adoptive adults and adoptive parents) of age eighteen years or older may obtain non identifying information.

  • Identifying Information : Identifying information can be obtained through the adoption registry and confidential intermediary. Oklahoma Adoption Laws

  • Adoption Registry Use:Adopted adults age 18 or older, adaptive parents, legal guardians, birth parents, descendents of a deceased adopted adult may obtain information through adoptive registry.

  • Confidential Intermediary Use:
    The following persons may use the confidential intermediary:
    • Adopted adults of age 18 years or older
    • Birth parents and grandparents
    • Birth siblings and birth siblings of deceased birth parents
    • Descendents of a deceased adopted adults
      A registry for six months or more is required.
