- A licensed agency
- A legal guardian
- Second decree relatives
- Followings may adopt a child :

- Any NM resident authorized by the court
- A married legally separated person
- A stepparent
Putative Fathers
New Mexico State requires a Putative Father Registry.
- What are the registry requirements to receive notice?
Statute: - § 32A-5-20(B)(2)
- The putative father may file a notice at any time (before or after the birth of child).

- Information about the person who has filed a paternity
