• Age Requirements :

  A child must be a thirty days old or younger.

• The following may relinquish the Infant :

• Safe Haven Provider's Responsibilities :
  Statute: - § 432B.630
  • They can take any necessary action to keep the child healthy and safe.
  • They must notify the child welfare agency within 24 hours.

• The following may receive the Infant :

  • A hospital holding a license may receive the infant
  • Fire Center
  • Law enforcement agency
  • Emergency medical care center
