Putative fathers

This state have No Putative Father Registry.

Registry requirements to receive notice : Statute: Tit. 18-A, - § 9-201(d)

1. Any of these: After given the notice of adoption, the putative father files within 20 days.
2. In longer period according to time given by judge.

Information in the registry or claim : Statute : Tit. 19, - § 1616

• Both the mother and putative father signed to voluntary acknowledgement of paternity.

Revocation of claim to paternity : Statute : Tit. 19, - § 1616

• Voluntary acknowledgment of paternity may cancel:
  1. Earlier of 60 days the voluntary acknowledgement may be rescinded or
  2. The date of happening relating to the child with proceeding to establish a support order
