Adoption expenses regulation
Expenses allowed for birth parent : Statute: - § 199.590(6)(a)
- All the expenses paid by the birth parents.
- All the fees required for accessing the legal services.
- Necessary cost and Required for placing the child.
Expenses not allowed for birth parent : Statute: - § 199.493
- The adoptive family or any of the agency, any of the intermediary have to pay the attorney's charged as fees of natural parent(s), if approved by the court.
Expenses allowed for adoption arrangement : Statute: - § 199.590(3), (5)
No one alone or in a group can behave as an intermediate for placing children as well as accepting the fees for providing the facility for adoption.
Expenses allowed for child relinquishment : Statute: - § 199.590(2)
- No one personally or through an agency as well as intermediate can himself or herself neither sell nor purchase a child for adopting.
Fees allowed for charges by agency or department : Statute: - § 199.590(2)
- Any of the child placing agency can ask for fees for the services they are using while providing adoption.
Expenses accounting as per court requirement : Statute: - § 199.590(6)(a)
- Any of the expenses paid have to be submit to court, but with the affidavit supporting them, and listing the for the approval by the court.
