Adoption parties
- Who can adopt: Statute: 750 ILCS 50/2
- A couple living together have to petition jointly and husband or a wife may adopt individually, if separated legally for a year or more than it.
- Any of the famous adult
- Any minor.
- Who can be adopted: Statute : 750 ILCS 50/3
- At least for two 2 years, when a adoptee was minor, and residing in the adoptive environment.
- A child.
- Who can place a child for adoption : Statute : 750 ILCS 50/4.1
- Any licensed agency.
- The Department of Children and Family Services.
