Registry requirements to receive notice : Statute: - §§ 584-6(a)(1); 571-61(b)

In 30 days after the child birth, a putative father has to file, in case the child mother relinquishes child for the sake of adoption in that 30 days time span.

Also the putative father can file:

  • Earlier than the execution of any valid consent to the adoption of a child by the child's mother
  • Earlier than the child placement with the adoptive family
  • Not at all after 3 years once the child becomes major in age from a minor.

In cae the court came to know about any good reason of the notice, it may terminate putative father's rights:

  • If father is not a legal father, but an adjudicated, or found as a presumed father.
  • If father has no demonstration in concern child and responsibility for that child.
