- About adoption consent
- The father, if the child was conceived or born while he has established paternity or he was married to the mother of that child

- Birth mother within 48 hours after the minor's birth can execute the written consent.
- At any time after the birth of the child, father may execute consent.

- In the presence of 2 witnesses, acknowledged by a notary public, parents may execute consent in case of direct placements.
- In the agency adoption, consent is by affidavit and only from an authorized representative.
- Consent revocation : Statute: - § 63.082
- Consent to the adoption of a minor of the age more than 6 months may be revoked in 3 days or anytime prior to the placement, which one of it is later, unless and until that consent was obtained by fraud or duress.
- Consent to the adoption of minor who is to be placed with identified prospective parents, as per the - § 63.052, can be withdrawn, if the court finds that the consent was obtained by fraud or duress only.
