Putative fathers

Registry requirements to receive notice : Statute: - § 19-5-105(2), (3), (5)
- Inquiry to identify the birth parent may be caused by the court to know real parent as well as any other appropriate person if there.
- After receiving notice about being father or likely father, paternity action must be filed by the putative father within 30 days after that notice or after the child's birth.
- Within 20 days after service of notice of termination proceedings an answer must be filed the putative father.
- Every person identified as birth parent or possible birth parent get notice of termination proceedings.
